Contributing to EDUCATION
We believe in building partnerships with not only with entities such as; Chamber of Commerces, Public Libraries, Community colleges, School districts, Corporations, Foundations and City of Irving Departments, such as Parks and Recreations and Health and Human Services Agencies; Individuals with experience and knowledge have contributed to be teachers, tutors, mentors and for that we are very grateful!
With the support of the private sector and other partnerships joining directly, we benefit the education of Hispanic youth and their families, which in turn benefits the overall community. When high school students help us in tutoring adults seniors in Spanish, our ROI is outstanding! We believe strongly in linking everybody. Working together results in great effectiveness in the education of all students.
Our first community learning center LA ESCUELITA has been housed at SAVERS COST PLUS supermarket since 2000. We are very happy to have grown in partnership with Savers Cost Plus supermarkets. We are hoping we can open more ESCUELITAS inside of Mr. Dirk Stricklin's supermarket chain, partnering with him and his staff has been a blessing!
•We value our Literacy partners like Mr. Dirk Stricklin who help achieve a successful community involvement..
•Our Partnerships initiatives create successful and productive members of society.
•We are grateful to everybody who helps expand our services of our Community Learning Center "La Escuelita" (The little school).
