(Fine Arts Mentoring Amigos)
MENTORING at FAMA means constructive feedback and advice while supporting enthusiasm and interest through dancing and singing
♦ Self Esteem
♦ Social Skills
♦ Self Confidence
DCET has three important elements to impact youth. Mentoring allows students to broaden their horizons through relationships. Tutoring allows students to develop academic skills. Through the study of cultural dance and other arts students gain an appreciation of the beauty of their cultural heritage. Through a combination of all three a strong foundation is laid for building the self-esteem and college readiness. This is what FAMA represents!
